Cautiously Optimistic
So, since the first post so much has changed. We filled out the paperwork and answered most of the questions. We still needed to go back and look at them again, but for the most part that was done. I had put on Matthew's to do list to go get his social security card (insert eye roll). While I was waiting for that to happen, life happened. Some issues within his youth group, the Santa Fe shooting, you know, not fun stuff. All I kept thinking was. "Maybe we don't need a child. Maybe we were suppose to be there for the ones that we know. The ones that come in and out of the church that need us." All I kept thinking is that the world sucked. We kind of sort of decided to put the paperwork in a drawer. I needed to pray over this.
